How We Built This Project
The story behind our eHealth literacy assessment project.
Our Story
We are a group of students who created this project to explore eHealth and determine how well students understand digital health information and technology.
Instead of creating a website that only provides information, we wanted to create something interactive. Our website allows users to take an assessment of their existing knowledge, explore learning materials, and take another assessment afterward.
By comparing the results before and after learning, we aim to gather information about students' eHealth literacy and observe whether their understanding improves after using the website.
Creating the project was not always easy. We experienced difficulties transferring code, organizing different parts of the website, gathering ideas and information, and debugging problems that appeared during development.
Despite these challenges, we continued working on the project because we wanted to complete something that could demonstrate how an interactive website can be used for learning and assessment.

Inspiration Behind the Project
Our main inspiration came from seeing another website created for an AP subject that used an interactive format to present information and assess its users.
We wanted to create something similar in concept, but focused on eHealth. Rather than simply asking students to read information, we wanted users to discover how much they already know and then see whether their understanding changes after exploring the learning materials.
This led us to develop the idea of using a pre-test, learning material, and post-test as the main structure of the website.
The project therefore became both a website development challenge and an exploration of students' eHealth literacy. Through the finished website, we hope to demonstrate how technology can be used to combine learning, assessment, and data gathering in one platform.

What's Next?
The statistics and future announcements will be posted here as the project continues to develop.
Future Development
Although the eHealth Assessment Portal is already functional, there are still many ways we could improve and expand the project.
Future updates may include additional assessments and learning materials covering more topics related to eHealth, mHealth, digital health literacy, and responsible use of technology.
The statistics will become available once a sufficient number of users have completed the quizzes. This will allow us to present meaningful results based on the collected responses.
